What a sad CBW too, because the world lost such an imaginative storyteller, Maurice Sendak. 

What do I plan on doing to brighten Book Week up?
Read all the Maurice Sendak books we have and get my kids to
write and illustrate their own books!
I think this is a fitting way to honor a genius author/illustrator and encourage a
new generation of creative minds.
